Asset Visibility (AV)

The mission of the Asset Visibility (AV) To provide global visibility of assets in all classes of supply to the Warfighters of the Department of Defense, Military Services, Combatant Commands, and Joint Task Forces to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the DOD logistics pipeline.

AV ensures a Total Asset Visibility (TAV) capability is provided to the Combatant Commanders (COCOMs), Joint Task Force (JTF) Commanders, the Services, and other DoD Organizations

The AV application is organized by asset categories, and each pre-defined query is categorized into one of six sections: In-Process, In-Storage, In-Transit, Total Asset Visibility, Reference Data, or Quick Queries.  AV also provides extensive summary and drill-down query capabilities in each of the categories, as well as on demand ad-hoc query building/editing capability.  Users can send query results to other registered AV users, save results in .csv, .pdf, or .xls format, and schedule recurring queries.   

AV replaced the Joint Total Asset Visibility (JTAV) application.
